Acrostic Poem

Dreams
Distracting day~dreams every day
Relaxing & anything you want it to Enchanting, hooked such a good story
An irritating way to make me late.
Memories saved in your mind to dream about. Staying in bed for way too long always will remember my DREAM.

The Sun

                       The Sun

The sun is a light bulb brightening the dark sky
it is a flake of golden glitter beaming through the clouds.

The sun is a button rolling above the earth
its a daffodil blooming on a spring afternoon.

The sun is a scrunched up piece of paper with past memories & ideas
it's a burning hot chilli acting like fireworks inside my mouth.

The sun is a disco ball when the planets are having a party.
It is a yellow traffic light telling us to slow down.

Cook Island Language Week

Last week was cook island language week, we learned about the cook island myths and much more. We did three activity sheets
my favorite was the fact flap. The fact flap was when we had to cut out a rectangle-shaped piece of paper that had questions on it. We then had to write the answers underneath the flap.
I've learnt lots about the cook islands and I'm very happy we have cook island language week.

When we went into the mare one of the teachers introduced himself to us his name was papa ho he was really funny he tought us about the different carvings in the mare. Later on, for morning tea, we had biscuits, scones, milo, apple slices, orange slices and water. I had a great time at the mare
